p. 15, Eq. (1.34): replace N on the rhs by N+1
p. 42 Eq. (2.34): insert on rhs f (r) = ....
p. 43, line 3: replace '0.06-0.08' by '0.06-0.08 e/fm3 (i.e. fm cubed)
p. 47, Sec. 2.3.2, line 3: insert '(SEMF)' after semi-empirical mass formula
p. 51, Eq. (2.59b): in the second line, delete the electron mass term
p. 86, caption to Fig. 3.6: change 'W meson' to 'mu-minus meson'

Comments

p. 442, line -17:  There is now a 2nd (2003) edition of the book by book by Das and Ferbel.
p. 442, line -14:  There is now a 6th (2008) edition of the book by Povh et al.
p. 342, Eq. (A.19) and p. 343 Eq. (A.28) are strictly nonrelativistic (the line above the former uses E = p2/2m); the relativistic form is used in Sec. 7.7.2 [Eq. (7.66)].  Both are made relativistic by simply changing m to E/c2
