Research

  • Recharge conference travel expenses.
  • Modify FMC daughterboard design with ZMOD connector — Pete Hastings (Oxford)/Andy Rose (Imperial)/Matt Warren.
  • Update DDC board design with improvements from Mark Jones (Oxford) and Duncan Parker (Imperial). Clarify spec with Marko Levicnik.
  • Shrink board to accept 1.5mm sheet spacing for Clatterbridge.
  • Update mechanical design of scintillator stack holder:
    • 3D print prototype using pillar supports.
    • Machined version from Harry Barnett once design fixed.
    • Update design with 2 sensors.
  • Organise experimental run at UCLH with NPL transmission calorimeter and Birmingham pixel sensor:
    • Design holder for NPL using same mounts as scintillator.
    • Add holder for absorber plus machined absorber block for QA.
    • Obtain pixel sensor specs from Tony Price (Birmingham).
  • Follow up scintillator machining:
    • Martin Blackman (UCL Mechanical Workshop).
    • Datron (via Harry Barnett).
    • Discuss results with Nuvia.
  • Update Clatterbridge design and arrange experimental run.

HEP Group

  • Update web pages with information for new users.
  • Add web design and editing pages to HEP group page.
  • Organise lab tools with Harry and Connor.
  • Obtain quote and write justification for Datron CNC.
  • Obtain quote and write justification for MarkForged 3D printer.
  • Set up group MacBook with JAMF again.
