Minutes for UCL Proton Calorimetry Meetings, 8th October 2019 (D17, Physics & Astronomy, UCL)

Laurent Kelleter

  • Writing thesis.
  • He/C: Implementing with Lenny comments from diff co-authors and will send another draft this week. Then submit to PMB.
  • Will give PART seminar on Friday this week.
  • Needs green light for QuARC paper submission.

Saad Shaikh

  • Settling in: Wed. Thu. Fri. has time to work
  • Discussion about deadlines:
    • whitin 6 months should be fine translating fitting code from ROOT to standalone code. Will discuss with Laurent possible problems in learning the code.
  • He is sitting in D109

Raffaella Radogna

  • Teaching Monday and Thursday this week and next week
  • RR has to send the CV to Lenny for prize application
  • will send patent application correction
  • will discuss with Ruben about emission spectrum experiment started with Fernando. This has to be low priority.
  • will discuss with Izzat Darwazeh and his PhD student about front end electronic desigh
    • new AIB board for EVM
    • new standalone board with QDC in the middle


Simon Jolly

  • no meeting next two weeks
