Simon Jolly, Laurent Kelleter, Raffaella Radogna, Saad Shaikh

Saad Shaikh

  • progress on fitting Bortfeld's Bragg curve on simulation data from Geant4 (from Laurent)
  • the code is ported in Eclipse and now is cpp executable, but still uses ROOT
  • next step will be the quenched Bragg curve and real data analysis
  • he will also start running the CMOS sensor and collect instructions about
    • running the software and acquiring images
    • analysing images
  • new directory pbt/wikiData/teaching

Laurent Kelleter

  • presents results about range uncertainties of the QuARC slides
    • uncertainty from the fit of light-depth curve is about 50um, but there are other uncertainties discussed in his presentation
  • all the systematics discussed will be included in the QuARC paper and the thesis
  • the paper about mixed beam has been reviewed with positive outcome. Lenny and Laurent will answer.

Raffaella Radogna

  • worked on setup. New way of coupling PD to the scintillator stack
  • run an experiment injecting light to a sheet at the time to check the cross talk
  • will analyse data
