Below is the plot showing the
difference in positron and electron response between MC and data.
However no firm conclusions about the beam offset can be drawn as yet because:

The data for both positrons and electrons do not have the
gain correction in.

The electron data was analyzed with the old type approach
(no chip history etc.) and before the HV change
Tricia is now fixing both items and I'll remake the plot
once she's done. Still, it looks suspicious that there's a systematic
effect here: the data seems to have always higher values than MC (except
for 3.5 GeV point).
