Minutes for UCL Proton Beam Therapy Group Meetings, 5th August

Joe Bateman, Sonia Escribano, Febian, Simon Jolly

Simon Jolly

  • Ordered two starter kits for kria
  • Potentially do FLASH calibration of module 2 in addition to conv calibration of all 3 at Trento

Sonia Escribano

  • Tested revF boards - 4 of the 8 working boards - fully working (other 4 full of soldering residue so can’t connect PDs)
  • 4 working boards now assembled within 3-module QuARC and working
  • Sorted cables for Trento beam test and spares
  • Will need to do shoot throughs of first two modules since have new boards - no changes to module 3 but will have another shoot through
  • One zmod board not working
  • Two of the fpga’s only work with 5V
  • For beam shift QuARC measurements do difference over sum for position measurements
  • Run 66 overwritten with background data
