Minutes for UCL Proton Calorimetry Meetings, 23rd November

Saad Shaikh

  • Provided plots for and reviewed FRPT poster with Sonia.
  • Provided Raffy with a simple Vivado project to generate clocks with Zybo Z7 for photodiode driver boards.
  • Assisted Maya with Geant4 setup not requiring admin privileges:
    • Able to build Geant4 from source using precompiled CMake – require admin privileges for running of unsigned application libraries.
    • Able to build Geant4 on Apple Silicon by choosing OpenGL X11 visualisation rather than Qt5.
  • Tested cabling and set up experimental enclosure for Groningen beam test.
