Minutes for UCL Proton Calorimetry Meetings, 18th January

Saad Shaikh

  • Abstracts submitted to PTCOG 61.
  • Provided data file for GUI tests to Sonia and Geant4 screenshots/plots to Simon.
    • Raffy has fixed stepping observed in depth-dose curve by limiting step length in simulation.
    • Will update simulation and re-run to provide new plots.
    • May want to change colouring scheme of visualisation.
  • Live fitting and live plotting of photodiode data now accepts up to 4 stack configuration files for calibration.
  • Added majority of references to QuARC paper, now will do a pass to add figures and plots.
    • Hopefully can invite collaboration next week.
  • Sent Simon form for requesting PhD extension funds, needs a statement and to be submitted by the end of the month.
