LEP2 Events

In 1996 the collision energy was increased from the initial value of 91 GeV, designed to produce a high yield of Z0 particles, to 161 GeV and higher - LEP2. This allowed the production of W+W- pairs, as well as the search for new types of particle. The first two of these events produce W+W- pairs. However, the third event is different, and still not quite understood. It is possible that two Z0 particles were produced (when the collision energy was 184 GeV).
