Vine'" Subject: RE: LTC testing and TRS801s Hi Ian The kernel is the harness/kernel task which runs on the VMS system and boots the Transputer network and provides the interface between the Transputers and VMS. It provides the file handling, messaging services etc. And it also used to provide access to MBM but that service was removed about a year ago. This is running on VAX-VMS. We have not yet tried it on any Alphas although we will soon have to do that. It may just be a matter of recompiling the code but I suspect that there will be a few fairly trivial things which may need changing in order to get it up and running. Getting the trs801 drivers working and then changing the setup files to use the new device rather than the qt0.
