Running
=======

	In all the following cases it is assumed the main setup file has 
	been executed, i.e. the setup.com file in the CTD_ONLINE_BASE 
	directory.


	Main setup file location
	========================

	UCL	`@DISK$Z1:[ZEUS_ONLINE.CTD_ONLINE3]SETUP'

	DESY	`@SYS$SYSDEVICE:[CTD_ONLINE]SETUP'
		( if using the UCL account, setup is done at login )

	Oxford	`@SYS$SYSDEVICE:[CTD_ONLINE]SETUP'


	Where to run.
	=============

	UCL	UCLVE
	DESY	ZUKVS3
	Oxford	ZUKVS?


	Selecting link to root transputer.
	==================================

	Before starting the software the link to the root transputer of the
	network must be defined ( link 0 is the default )

		DESY.

			LINK0   Z system DAQ		( = HKB200 )
			LINK1   rucksack flying link	( = HKB201 )
			LINK2   FADC system DAQ		( = HKB202 )
			LINK3   level 6 electronics.	( = HKB203 )

	===

	1) Setup the required version :

		To setup the current production version in

			DESY ( ZUKVS3, UCL account )

				Type 		`TCTSET'

				Either type 	`@TCT_BASE_DIR:TCTSET'
	
				( or add the line 
				  `TCTSET :== @TCT_BASE_DIR:TCTSET' 
				   to your login.com, then you can just type 

						`TCTSET' 

				   when you login next time )

				   when you login next time )

	2) The command to run the selected version of roctest is :


		ROCTEST linknumber bootable


		where 	linknumber 	is the number of the link to use 
			----------	( eg.  0 for link 0 )

		and 	bootable  	is the name of the bootable to use 
			--------	( eg. 16CRATE to run on 16 crates, 
					      Z0  to run on a single crate )

	Examples :
	----------

		ROCTEST 0 16CRATE	will use link 0 and run on all 16 crates

		ROCTEST 3 Z0		will use link 3 and run a single crate
					version ( eg level 6 in DESY )

		ROCTEST 0 16Z_16FADC	will use link 0 and run on all 16x 
					Z-crates, all 16x FADC crates and
					both RBOX1 ( = 17 ) and RBOX2 ( = 37 )
