SCT off-detector electronics Following delivery of 10 TIM modules to various ATLAS sites, two FPGA versions of the TIM module are now under construction. After the commissioning and testing of these, a further 18 will be manufactured for the SCT and Pixel community. Also a further 24 may be ordered by the various muon detector groups. We have responsibility for the back of crate cabling and the overall laser interlock design. Work on DAQ testing software, and on the Timing Trigger Control (TTC) at CERN is continuing within the group. SCT Barrel modelling, design and prototyping work. Work on the UCL ATLAS Models involving low mass power tapes and optical readout fibre, connectors and patch panels, sensor placements and the thermal enclosure is continuing because of the many design changes that have had to occur. New tasks have been the modelling and testing of the proposed grounding and shielding scheme for the SCT, and providing components for the services model at CERN.
