Crdntion with JRA 1. Anyone read the minutes from the last joint meeting with them?

Relation with NA4.
This activity will be useful for writing use cases.

Jean Paul: two types of people in NA4: some know about the network. Many do not know much about networking issues.

Maybe ask them if they have any requirements with respect to bandwidth brokering.

Javier: we need to be a little more proactive when presenting network issues.
Note to have parallel effort to contact the application experts.
Who will be writing the clients of the bandwidth broker?
Javier: it will be the applications (NA4).

Relation with JRA3.
There is no relation as yet.
JRA3 is security.
There is already a close relationship between JRA3 and JRA1 to design a security infrastructure. We should be involved.

Loukik: The collaboration with GHPN is not so productive.
Maybe only one person should attend the GHPN meetings.
Javier will do that and involve other people if they might be interested.

A document was meant to be completed by now but it hasn't: they just have an early draft.
They will send it to the list as it stands to get some comments etc.

Do some work on this.

Javier is trying to set up a meeting with David Foster. No reply yet.

Operations use cases:
No on is about who can talk about this.

Survey of currently available architectures.
Anybody want to comment?
They have a list of packages to analyse and have assigned people to do each package.
Looking at the Internet Two architecture.

Andrea: working on analysing GARA and GRS.
He is seeing in both architectures is that both assume that there is ovr provisioned network.
Javier: this is part of the analysis though.

After that is the face to face meeting at CERN.
