Moving from research and development of predictions services.
Lots of other prjects to collaborate with. EGEE etc and also European and UK projects.


Steve fisher:

The who's who slide is quite interesting.
The new ntwork boss is one Jean-Paul Gautier (sp?).

So JRA1 is divided into collections:
UK: information collection.
Italy: resource broker, resource access, accounting.
Cern: Data management

Security is somehow split amongst them all.

Work done in EGEE will not get into LCG until 2005.

Tls: CVS at Cern using SSH.
Project portal is Savannah (savannah.cern.ch) wich is a continuation of SourceForge now that that has gone commercial.

Dave: Workload management.
Even Dave has no idea who he has to work with.

GridSite is being developed as an open source thing as much as possible.

Why use LCG Savannah instead of GNU Savannah?
wants to mntn gr lnks with LCG while also keeping it open.

Pete Clarke: WP7 well, networking.

Mostly talked about UKLIGHT.
