Tanya wants to be able to get lots of different metrics at the same time.
This is a request/reponse.






Requesting measurements as, say, I want a measurement in the past, but I will accept any time for the last 24 hours.
So we could have a time, and negativeTolerance and a positiveTolerance.


To get rid of the cases of   endTime<startTime  (i.e. startTime=now, and now ends up after endTime)
So... have a startTime (called something else) and an interval or period which can be positive or negative

this allows you to do
  start=53     } time from 53 to 73
  period=20s   }

  start=53     } time from 33 to 53
  period=-20s  }

  start=now    } from now to 20s time
  period=20s   }

  start=now    } from 20s in the past to now
  period=-20s  }


TCP,UDP etc in the characteristic name

this came from the Damed - they tried to get as much in the name as possible.

People using it just then used it.


Mark: should the people looking at the request schema/report schema to look at this and make a recommendation.

BT's opinion is that this is just an attribute of the test.
