Transfer tests using iperf with 'readvars' web100 monitoring. Tests were conducted with 30 second transfers for various buffer sizes.

Settings

Receiver buffer sizes were set to a fixed value of 128k, whilst the value fo the senders buffer was varied between 4k and 256k using iperf. Tests were conducted with iperf, monitored with readvars web100.

Results

Transfer were conducted smoothly with only problems encountered by the 64k sample and a varying transmission throughput by the 256k sample.

The inverse increase in cwnd is demonstated here with mid-sized samples. This is most apparent on the 64k sample. The development of the 256k sample shows wild flucuations. The increase of the cwnd size for the 32k sample grows so much that it over shoots the graph - only to be set back into place by an error occuring at 16-17 seconds from which it continues again in congestion avoidance.
