WP3 - HLT tracking

• Work on robustness; common interface with offline for common error return code in converters; Dmitry working on L2, Jiri on EF
• back tracking at EF implemented
• CSC note almost final (2nd draft out).
• Data from M6: Mark improved the space point shifter, which now works almost always. Now working on understanding the remaning inefficiencies.
• Tuning & validation: problems with RTT jobs. Truth info is not in the ntuples, so tests fail. Erkcan and Julie looking into it, tuning work waiting for the truth problem to be resolved.
• Jiri solved a kine association problem for EF and redid the plots for the CSC note
• Julie is looking at reducing the size of AODs, which is dominated by Bphysics track collections

WP3 - Core software and activities

• RegionSelector (Mark): New map for the TRT, small improvement/fix in SCT/Pixel tables; working on getting the info for the z from the RoiDescriptor
• TrigTool (Paul): New interface with several improvements, but not used in M6, old one was fine for it; Now possible to get configuration of offline jobs from Database by simple change of TriggerFlags; work on schema evolution.
• Releases (Simon): 13.0.40.4 used for FDR-2 event mixing; 14.0.0 is about to be released; 14.1.0 for some time in April

WP2 - HLT hardware and networks

• (Fred) Delivery of 700 HLT boxes (Dell 1953, dual cpu, quad core Hapertowns, 2.5GHz, with 2Gb memory per core), to be installed in April. They are 1.4 times more powerful than boxes used up to M6. No news on networks, they have been working fine.

WP1 - ROS hardware and software

• One more ROBin had the known intermittent problems
• ROBin Express work starting: the schematics need to reenter the RAL system; UK to try to produce ~10 prototypes

(Gordon)

• TDAQ 1.9.0 out: using e-format 4; internal reorganisation; ROBin interrupt handler: ROBIN tells ROS of a bad fragment and that gets transmitted to EMON
