GB and All-Star Squads

I have played for Great Britain at both Youth and College levels. I first played for the GB Crusaders in 1995 in Wisconsin, with a couple more games in 1996. I was also the Crusaders Team Captain in 1996. I have also played for the Great Britain Bulldogs, the Universities representative side, 'touring' Denmark in 2000 and Italy in 2003. My brother Martin has also captained the Crusaders, so I thought I'd include a picture of him as well.

In addition, I've also played for the Southern Universities All-Star squad - the Wildcats - 3 times: 1997, '98 and 2003: pictures of the first 2 can be found at the bottom.

A slightly younger Mr. Simon Jolly, just turned 18, playing for the GB Crusaders in 1995 in Wisconsin. Les Jolloise, playing against Team USA at Finsbury Park in '96. Picking up a medal after the game. The GB representatives of the '96 Knights: [L-R] [front] SJ, Aaron Worsfold, Simon Srour (seated), Matt Louie, Mark Zaki, Carl Smith; [back] Chris Carlisle (injured), Mark Deverill, MJ, Sean Donoghue (injured), Damon Kirby (coach), Greg Goldie, Richard Fraser, Paul Kelly.

2 Jolly's, after the one on the right watched the one on the left beat the fuck out of Norway in a European qualifier.

The GB Bulldogs University Squad:

The 2003 GB Bulldogs after our first warm-up game against the Chester Romans in Worcester, which we won 38-0. The Oxford contingent of the 2003 Bulldogs: DB Oli North, Coach Phil De Monte and me. The 2000 GB Bulldogs at Saffron Lane in Leicester. For those that can't see me, I'm standing in the back row, behind #29 Dave Kettle and #28 Jay Cordingley.
