AWARE Housekeeping

Type

The AWARE database contains two types of file representing the housekeeping data.

• Simple -- Summary files with one data point every 5 minutes
• Full -- Files with one data point for each recorded housekeeping event, that is every 10 seconds for the sensor and every second for the event housekeeping.

In either case only Max Plot Points are shown, and the data is averaged into this number of even sized bins.

Station

The AWARE database contains data for the three full ARA stations. These are imaginatively called:

• ARA01 -- STATION1
• ARA02 -- STATION2
• ARA03 -- STATION3

Currently only ARA02 and ARA03 are actively acquiring data at the pole.

Housekeeping Type

The AWARE database contains three types of housekeeping data.

• Sensor Hk -- This includes all the environmental data on the status of the station, such as temperatures, voltages and currents.
• Event Hk -- This includes all the data related to the performance of the trigger, such as thresholds and L1,L2,L3, etc. scaler rates counting the number of triggers at each point.
• Header -- This data is derived from the actually events and so includes things such as event rate and channel RMS.
