FTree (Persistent LDAP) FTree is an adaptation of LDAP that stores information in memory rather than on, say, hard-disk, like with normal LDAP. This has the benefit of speed more than anything else as LDAP is considerably 'average' when it comes to everything. FTree is developed by Alex Martin of QMUL.
